Messy Church
What is Messy Church?
Messy Church is a time when families come together to enjoy being together, making things together, eating together and celebrating God together through his word, through music and through prayer. It is an event for children and their carer / parent to be together, trying new things, being creative, helping each other and having fun. We will have the equipment and someone who knows what could be made – but the rest is up to you, together!
The next Messy Church event is on Friday 12th November, 3.30-5.30 pm
Juniors Pioneers at St Mary’s
Prepare to have fun! Junior Pioneers is for school years 3-6 and Pioneers for school years 7-10. Both groups have a similar format – games, music, Bible study and discussion – but with teaching materials suited to the different age groups.
Both groups are also involved in the usual Pioneers extra activities – like going on outings to Thorpe Park & Chessington, watching videos and taking part in Youth Services.
The first meeting of the Autumn term for Pioneers and Junior Pioneers is on Sunday 11th September from 5:00 to 6:30pm in St Mary’s Church Hall.
