Our next Messy Church event is on Friday 12th November, 3.30 – 5.30pm, in St Mary’s Church Hall.

What is Messy Church?

Messy Church is a time when families come together to enjoy being together, making things together, eating together and celebrating God together through his word, through music and through prayer.  It is an event for children and their carer / parent to be together, trying new things, being creative, helping each other and having fun.  We will have the equipment and someone who knows what could be made – but the rest is up to you, together!

What will we be doing?

This is an outline of our time together:

3.30pm                     Arrival, register, drink and puzzles

4pm (ish)                  Creative time starts

4.50pm (ish)             Move to church for worship

5.15pm                     Back to the hall for our meal

5.45pm (ish)             Home (or help clear up.)

What about toddlers?

We are really sorry but the activities are not suitable for under 5’s.  Maybe you could join with a friend and team up.  Take it in turns to come.  One adult brings both 5 – 11’s this time and the other looks after the under 5’s.  Next term the adults could swap around.  Or come to Toddlers Praise in St Mary’s Church.  Other dates on a separate flyer.
