Home Group News – Autumn Term

The Monday evening group that meets at at St. John’s is studying “Elijah” this term. Contact Tessa Badcock on (01932) 888 992 for more details.

This year the national initiative of Back to Church Sunday falls on 26th September and once again we shall be taking part. Now is the time to start thinking and praying about who you know that you could invite along to Church. A personal invitation is often all people (who have not been along to Church) need.

HARVEST FESTIVAL LUNCH
SAVE THE DATE: The Parish HARVEST FESTIVAL LUNCH is on SUNDAY 3RD OCTOBER at St Mary’s Church Hall
There’s going to be a seasonal lunch with live music and also children’s entertainment provided by Katy Ashworth, the presenter of CBeebies “I Can Cook”.

VICAR’S SABBATICAL
In the July Radius I described the genesis of the sabbatical that I’ve been given by the diocese, and which will take me away from parish duties from (roughly) the second week of September until the second week of December.
