Adult Confirmation Classes
Is it time you became a full member of the Church?
Adult Confirmation Classes start on Monday 27th September at 8.00 pm in St John’s and run for 10 weeks.
The Confirmation Service is on Sunday 5th December in St Mary’s.

We were very lucky indeed on Saturday Sept 11th when the charity abseil took place from the top of St Mary’s tower. Fifty eight people accomplished the climb up through the tower, onto the roof and then frighteningly backwards off the top. Every instinct tells you not to lean backwards from a ledge 18m up – but you do it anyway and the buzz was incredible. Everyone who did it was wreathed in smiles afterwards. HARVEST SUPPER 2010A note for your diary: The Harvest Supper will be held at St John’s on Friday 8th October at 7:00 pm for 7:30 pm.

Life in the Day of Jackie Kennedy
As you read this, I will be laid up with my foot in plaster – so may be toning down the high life I normally lead!!!
