The Street Angels project is a Church led initiative which has proved successful in Guildford and other towns by helping people in need in the Town centres at weekends.

A series of four evening workshops to explore religious faith and the future of work, economy and business, to be held at St Andrew’s Church, Denton Way, Goldsworth Park, Woking GU21 3LG on Tuesday evenings during May and June, 7-30 pm to 9-15 pm on Tuesday 25 May, Tuesday 8 June, Tuesday 22 June and Tuesday 6th July.

I signed up to the Deepening Faith course knowing that I wanted to do it but without applying a huge amount of thought about what it would involve or what would be expected of me. Despite going to church for some time I haven’t done the Alpha course yet and therefore when I settled down for the first session I confess to a twinge of doubt as to whether my faith was deep enough for such a shared biblical exploration and interrogation.
