Revision of Church Electoral Roll
- 2010 -
The annual revision of the Electoral Roll for St Mary and St John’s will take place during the period, Sunday 14th March to Sunday 28th March inclusive.
Forms of application for enrolment/amendment will be available from the parish office during that period.
These should be returned to the parish office by not later than Monday 29th March 2010
after which no further names can be added or removed until after the Annual Parish Church Meeting on Friday 23rd April 2010.

Volunteers needed to take round schools groups, welcome at open sessions, help set up TODAY, Sunday 14th, and take down on Saturday 20th.

The eight bells date back to 1606, so for four hundred years they have been ringing across the town to mark services, weddings and celebrations. The last major restoration took place in 1883.
The proposed work requires removal of the bells from the tower for fitting new headstocks, gudgeons and bearings, clapper assemblies, wheels and rope pulleys; then all to be rehung in a new steel frame.
