Come and help build the Kingdom of God!
St John’s Church, Saturday 10th April, 2-5pm We continue to build God’s kingdom through this valuable one-off event for the children in our local community.
All the planning and preparation is underway and now we invite you to come and help us deliver a fun-packed afternoon, building relations with children who have little or no Christian understanding, and sharing with them the love of the risen Jesus Christ.

The annual revision of the Electoral Roll for St Mary’s and St John’s has been taking place during the period Sunday 14th to Sunday 28th March inclusive. Forms of application for enrolment/ amendment are still available from the Parish Office and both Churches. These must be returned to the PO by tomorrow, Monday 29th March, after which no further names can be added or removed until after the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Friday 23rd April.

St Mary’s and St John’s would be very grateful to receive donations in memory of loved ones. Please mark your envelope ‘Easter Lilies – St Mary’s’ or ‘St John’s’ and leave at the Parish Office. St Mary’s would also be grateful for small plants for the Easter garden, and both churches would like flowers and foliage for decorating. Please bring these along next Saturday, 3rd April, between 9.00 and 10.00 am at St Mary’s, and from 10.00 am at St John’s. Thank you.

The City of God Most High, maker of heaven and earth, lifts up its gates: the everlasting doors stand open. The unbroken foal brings the Messiah to his breaking. The very stones must shout. The King comes to his own. The people see, but do not understand; they listen, but they cannot hear. Lord God, give us voice to greet the Messiah: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
