DESPERATELY SEEKING MEN!
Do you come to the 10.00 am Service at St Mary’s? Are you capable of doing a bit of not- too-strenuous lifting? I am urgently looking for more men to put out and clear away tables and chairs in the Church Hall. The more of you who come forward, the less often you’ll be on the rota. Ring me today!

(PS: In these politically-correct times, please feel free, ladies, to also undertake this task!)

The embryo Elmbridge 50 + aspires to attract local members of this increasing age group who are able and keen to do more than coast down from the foothills, but want to cast aside obstacles on the path farther up the mountain. The question is: How we use our experience, knowledge and resources to assist the Borough Council and other appropriate groups to achieve even better outcomes for the benefit of the entire community?
If this new organisation and venture appeals to you, come to the public meeting on 2.30pm Tuesday …
