Is ALPHA ‘Life changing’?
I wouldn’t say I came from a religious family, my parents pride themselves on going to church whenever invited – i.e. weddings, christenings and funerals. However I was christened as a baby and went to a C of E school, although that may have been based on location not faith. On Wednesday 11th May the Mothers’ Union group are welcoming a talk by Beth Shutt who will be talking on “Domestic Violence and the Women’s Refuge” at their meeting.
We plan to start this interesting talk earlier than our usual time in the hope that anyone interested in this subject could come along even if they have children who have to be picked up from school.
The meeting will start at 1pm with a light lunch being served at 12 noon.
