My alarm is set for 7am but it’s unusual not to be woken up by my other ‘little alarm’, Samuel, aged 2 and a half – although I must give full credit to my wife, Angie, who gets up to look after him first thing. Ringing at Walton has been suspended while the Bell Restoration Project is underway.
Practice night is still Fridays but is now 7.30 ~9.00 at St Mary Oatlands.
Oatlands also welcomes ringers for Sunday morning ringing at 9.30 am.
The bells at Walton should be back in by Easter 2011
