Welcome to Walton-on-Thames Parish Church, a lively Christian community in a pleasant town in North Surrey, alongside the River Thames, in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford.

Revd. Canon Charles Stewart has been our Vicar since Summer 2006. Charles was previously Precentor and Sacrist at Winchester Cathedral, where he had been chiefly responsible for the Cathedral’s liturgy and music from 1994.

Although this website will tell you something of our long history, we hope to interest you more in the life of the church today as we introduce you to some of the people, and detail the times of worship at our two churches.

There are many activity groups which form part of our church life, from the church school to informal home groups, from social fellowships to choirs. Details for most of these can be found on our pages. Please come back to revisit our site again soon, or better still we hope you will be able to visit us in person.

We have two church buildings serving our one parish family:

• St Mary’s in Church Street, which is the ancient parish church,
• St John’s in The Furrows, which has been a dedicated place of worship since 1953.
