VICAR’S SABBATICAL
In the July Radius I described the genesis of the sabbatical that I’ve been given by the diocese, and which will take me away from parish duties from (roughly) the second week of September until the second week of December. As I promised then, throughout my absence the Churchwardens will go on exercising their normal responsibilities, Steve Bailey will lead the ministry team and should be the first port of call for any ministerial matters, Katrina will go on discharging the duties of parish administrator efficiently, and Nick Stuart will chair the PCC.

I am very grateful for the expressions of interest, support and encouragement that I’ve received from so many of you in the intervening weeks. Please will you pray throughout my sabbatical for the ministry team, the wardens, and all those who are taking on extra responsibility in the coming weeks; and also for Pat, Kate, Jonny and for me, in this somewhat different configuration of family life.
