On a very hot 10th July the Vicarage garden hosted our annual Garden Party. The event was very successful, as many people came along to enjoy the lovely food, people and sun. Despite the hot weather, everybody seemed to enjoy themselves.

During the afternoon, I managed to walk around and talk to some very lovely visitors. Here are some of the comments I would love to share with you.

“A good team effort and we thought it gave people of all ages a chance to come together. We also thought that there was a lovely mix of food for all ages, and if the event was to happen again we would definitely encourage friends and family to come along.”

“We thought there was a very good range of food and clearly an excellent team effort. We also thought it was a good chance to bring communities together and it was also lovely to see children playing together. And lastly we couldn’t have asked for better weather.”

“It was nice to bring all the children together and also it was a good opportunity to bring two different churches together. Also I thought that the cake and weather were perfect and I could clearly see that a lot of effort had gone into making the day run smoothly.”

Overall I think it all went according to plan and I am very happy to say that everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Finally I would like to say a massive thank you to Charles & Pat for allowing us to use their garden, also to everyone who helped to make the afternoon such a success.
